FIFA 16 is set for release in September. More game details are announced as the release date comes closer. EA Sports just released a complete FIFA 16 stadiums list including 9 brand new licensed stadiums.

There are 50 licensed and 28 generic stadiums in this year’s game. As gamers are familiar with the existing ones, let’s take a look at the 9 brand new grounds.

Borussia-Park (Borussia Mönchengladbach, Bundesliga)

Carrow Road (Norwich City, Barclays Premier League)

CenturyLink Field (Seattle Sounders FC, Major League Soccer)

El Monumental (Club Atlético River Plate, Argentine Primera División)

Fratton Park (Portsmouth FC, England League Two)

King Abdullah Sports City (Al-Ittihad & Al-Ahli, Saudi Abdul Latif Jameel League)

Stade Vélodrome (Olympique de Marseille, Ligue 1)

Vicarage Road (Watford, Barclays Premier League)

Vitality Stadium (Bournemouth, Barclays Premier League)

It’s impressive that Portsmouth F.C.’s home stadium Fratton Park is included in FIFA 16 in honor of the FIFA series’ former Creative Director Simon Humber who passed away from cancer earlier this year. Humber was a passionate fan of Pompey. The team has done a great job of replicating this 117-year-old stadium in the game.

FIFA 16 will be available for PS3, PS4, XB1, XB360 and PC on September 22.
